To People's Church, success is when we effectively move people from our Sunday celebration experience into Community Groups. Our goal as we grow larger in our Sunday experiences is to grow smaller through Community Groups. We believe that Community Groups are the best place for sustained life change to occur. In a Community Group, people build strong relationships, establish accountability with other Christians, study God's Word together and are in a small enough environment to discuss the issues and challenges of life. It's also where they pray, care for one another and are missed if they don't show up. Practically speaking, with the rapid growth of People's Church, there will never be a way for the staff to personally minister to everyone who attends our church. That's why we place such a high premium on group life. It's how we effectively minister at People's Church.
